To the small handful of people who check our blog for race updates, I do apologize but I have been on a mental vacation the past couple of weeks! Here is an updated rundown of all the upcoming local races coming our way in the South Bay!
December Races
December 2: San Pedro – 2012 Holiday 10 Mile / 5 Mile Run
This a very low key, but high reward event put on by the Pt. Fermin Flyers Running Club to raise donations for the Toberman House in San Pedro. Bring a new, unwrapped toy worth $10 or a $10 donation to the race (non-participant donations are welcome too) and the donations will be distributed to the Toberman House in San Pedro! This is NOT an organized event but there will be snacks and refreshments afterwards provided by the Pt. Fermin Flyers! If you want to run this race, fliers are available to pick up at the Village Runner in Redondo Beach or you may fill in the waiver the morning of the race. The race starts at 8am at Pt. Fermin Park at the South end of Gaffey Street in San Pedro.
December 15: Manhattan Beach – Yuletide Run 5K Run and Kid’s Dash – cool shirts, and glow sticks! What else do you need?!
